Very cool. Going to be watching this one. What is that thing on your steering column?

Alright! Heads and Cam will be heading out from GPI on Monday. Will be picking up my goodies from ADM this afternoon, the MyLink, ZL1 underbelly from GenDIY is on its way, and I'll be ordering my ZL1 Bumper and Spoiler from Gary on Monday!
When this is done, it will be a complete transformation -- along with some other Z/LE goodies that are ordered and hopefully, will be here by or shortly after xmas! -Don |
Well , you're going to make GM bring out a whole new trim for the Camaro , if you keep it up! Lol. .. Great work!

Thanks, appreciate the kind words! This will have a good mix of ZL1 and 1LE parts! There are other goodies I have yet to receive -- I'll post a pic of those once they come in!

Next, getting my 'jigs' ready... -Don |

Backup Camera: http://accelerationtech.com/photos/p...ps69ddc0e1.jpg And Nav/MyLink Faceplate: http://accelerationtech.com/photos/p...ps77f63eeb.jpg Woo hoo! -Don |
OK, just finished installing the backup camera. Had the existing camera mount from the factory so I didn't have to remove the rear bumper.
Installed and routed the camera wire down the passenger side -- I didn't have to remove the seat -- just the rear passenger panel and trim -- used the existing wire runner. Installed -- still needed to tighten it down @ this point (that took a while!) but wanted to show how the factory placement was: http://accelerationtech.com/photos/p...psa285d469.jpg Once bolted down, fits right and very tight. Boy, there is a lot of dirt collected in there! Used Velcro to hold the connector in place: http://accelerationtech.com/photos/p...psbc4912c8.jpg (Sorry for the fuzzy pic): http://accelerationtech.com/photos/p...psc50d0b05.jpg Next, the Mylink install... -Don |
Well, got 90% of it done, but it looks like one of the wire harness' is missing the pins for the OnStar J2 (12 pin ) connector, so -- got a call in to Gen5Diy and hope to have it soon. Sucks as I have to go out of town and hoped to have this out of the way so I could start my LSA Supercharger install
Hope I can get them soon... :pout: -Don |
