2011: DIC Digital Speedometer Stopped Working....

Hello all,

I have started having an interesting problem with my 2011 LT. Everything else seems to be working fine in the DIC (Driver Information Center), but just the other day I noticed that the Digital Speedometer has just gone totally blank. Has anybody else run into this issue on 2010 or 2011 and know what the fix may be? The classic Speedo on the left side of the gauge cluster is still working fine and now I'm being forced to use it. lol

I find it odd that only the Speedo portion of the DIC would stop working. should I start with disconnecting my battery to attempt to troubleshoot? Any insight anybody has is appreciated.

Try turning the wheel on the turn signal. There is a spot between displays where the DIC is blank.

Do you have a HUD? If so, does it still display on there? If not, I would try the battery and see if that resets everything.

Thanks for the tip Farm Rat! Never really noticed that blank spot when cycling through on the wheel. That is all it was. I don't cycle through all that often on the DIC, pretty much only to check the oil life monitor. Glad the fix was just me being an idiot, at least that means I didn't have a serious or costly issue. :)

Glad to help. For S&G's I tried it on my car to make sure I was right.
