2-Tone Paint ?

Would you order your new Camaro with 2-Tone Paint if it was offered as a factory option? If so, how much would you pay for it?? $500 .. $1,000 !

After seeing the Dale JR Edition Camaro, I'm seriously thinking of having my Camaro 2-Toned from the dealer if reasonably priced instead of using vinyl rally stripes.

it would be really hard to do that in the factory paintline setting

For decades the Caprice and others from the 70's, 80's and early 90's were offered as 2-Tones vehicles which were done at the factories. Perhaps, this has become a lost art in the 21st Century for auto manufacturers and is now left to the aftermarket dealers and bodyshops. :iono:

I have never liked two tone paint, but this car definately has the lines for it.

I'm happy for the people that will be getting their car two toned though, at least they know it will look good.

Agree. Never been a fan. But this concept raised an eyebrow. That line that the division follows is what makes this car i think. Its the most striking part that sets it apart from the challenger. I love this car.

Dragoneye made a few photoshops using that paint job last year. they looked great then. Normally I'm not for two tone, but I wouldn't mind it on this car.

I LOVE the two tone paint, but have a feeling it would easily get into the 1,000's to do it. So, for that, I would have to say it would be a no go for me.

how far are we willing to take the "retro" look? leave two tone colors where they are........in the past. The hockey stripe or the ralley stripes are just the right touch to break the lines. To me, two tone cars look like the owner could not make up their mind on what color to choose so it was painted two tone. each to his own but I would guess many others think the same or they would have offered it as an option.

think about it this way, more people with different combos means less people with cars like yours.

They offered factory two tones as recently (relatively) as the Beretta in the late 80s and the 95 and later Lumina had some two tones.
