OBX Longtube Header Install review (with clips)

First off... This thread is intended just to show how these headers sound. I'm not intending this to be a flame fest like some of the other OBX threads. Please keep those comments out. :paddle:

Install was really a breeze. Thank you all for chiming in to help out in my earlier posts. I literally did this install with only ramps, small floor jack, and jack stands. Only struggles through the entire process were unplugging the O2 sensor from the back of the block. That green tab that holds them in place I had to fight with to get off. The only other hiccup was trying to figure out of the spring bolts attached, but per recommendation of Highcompression and Camarocowboy I ditched them.

My only mod on the car was Injen CAI. Anyway, here is a small before and after video:

Already got it with SCT from Ted. And about the revs... I was the camera man, not the rev man so be easy haha.

It sounds good and I`m sure that they were as easy to install as the Kooks are...Lol.. Glad you are enjoying them.:)

Sounds great and you can feel proud that you saved some money by installing them yourself. I'm running the stock mufflers too and love how it sounds. If you switch to anything other than stock mufflers be prepared for drone or it just being overbearingly loud!

Yeah, to anyone debating putting these on themselves... DO IT. Its as easy as about 17 bolts, O2 sensors (with front extensio, some ramps, unplugging sensors, and a little patience. Thats it.

The sound is perfect for me. I dont think i'll be changing anything else about the car unless maybe some suspension upgrades.

I installed my OBX Longtubes last week, easy install.
I added 3" inlet/outlet high flow cats to mine and cut out the little 2.5" section on my Flowmaster catback so that mine is all 3" now. Welded it all up myself...very pleased with how it turned out.
Oh, I also lengthened my front 02 sensor wires, little solder and some wire.
Saved $800 compared to Kooks longtubes with cats.
