2013 SEMA Show - GM Booth - Chevrolet Performance Camaro V8 Concept

2014 Camaro V-8 Performance Concept
In more ways than one, this Camaro SS-based concept closely follows in the footsteps of the Camaro Performance Garage concept. Beneath the surfaces, you’ll find the same ZL1 and Z/28 parts as the Performance Garage show car uses — but the surface itself is a little bit different. The V-8 Performance Concept wears five-spoke 45th Anniversary aluminum wheels instead of 10-spoke alloys, has a different exterior paint scheme, and a little nicer interior. Peek inside, and you’ll find Recaro bucket seats with Mojave stitching, soft-touch trim bezels in black, and other interior accents borrowed from Chevy’s accessory catalog.

No chrome strip with RS headlights. hmmmmm.

Would love to see pics of the engine bay if you get the opportunity!

Those don't look like the five spoke 45th wheels

Well done! Nice pics!

Well my mod list just grew a ton. Red Rock looks really cool inside under the lights. I'm loving that rear spoiler and would love to hear what this car sounds like with the shortys and exhaust. Does anyone know if the shortys are the same that's on the Z/28?

Bhobbs 11-05-2013 05:35 PM

I really like this concept but don't know where it fits. Would this go into production as an updated 1LE or an entirely knew car?

It's just to show what you could do to an SS if you wanted to. Probably not for production. I'm pretty sure one of the big wigs said at the Z/28 reveal that the Z is the last model we'll see for be fifth gen.

I'm really loving the diffusor. Definetly looks a lot better than the original diffusor.
