So the other day I learned something about the sunroof
I live in SLC, which means during the summer it doesn't rain much at all. This is also my first summer with my Camaro.
So went out with my wife to grab a bite, and on the way there we had a light rain. After we finished eating, the rain had stopped. It was a nice evening with warm fresh air so we hop in the car, drop the windows and open the sunroof. And a flood pours in on us. The water had beaded up on the glass and when the sunroof opens the tilt aims right for the front seats. Lesson learned. |
LOL that's got me a couple of times while owning the car too.
|
Hahahaha. I don’t even want to admit how many times I’ve done that in cars with sunroofs.
Drive an old Saturn where the glass retracts level, and it wouldn’t pour on me until I hit the brakes. And the water always feels so cold lol |
Happened once in my Grand Am when I had it . :pound::pound::pound:
|
My daily driver got me the other day...didnt see the frost of the roof and sunroof.

Hope you mean Dew. It hasn't been cold enough for frost in at least 6 months. :happyanim: |
Ha. Been there
|
Guess you have to run a quarter mile in 8 secs before opening.
|
That's why I don't like sunroofs in my car!!!
|
Not quite as bad as a sunroof, but if there is any water on the top the first time you make a turn it will run into the windows if you have them down.
