I still have a lot of work to do myself to finish it up but I had the car back halved with a chromoly fab 9” and 8.50 cage. Here are some pics so far.

Thanks still have a long way to go. I’m going to paint gunmetal gray interior once I get all the little stuff done.

I race with a group that is all stick shift cars. UMTR (United Manual Transmission Racers) I plan to continue racing with them for as long as I can. I would eventually like to get the car making 1,000+ to the ground. Not sure yet leaning towards whipple or a pro charger.

Damn looks sick.

Motorboy8769 01-19-2021 08:57 PM

Thanks
I’m almost ready to fire the car up and break in the new rear gears. I’m finishing up the brakes tomorrow. We deleted the abs valve the. I’ll be starting on the new fuel rails and running the lines to the fuel cell. I’m debating on putting a new clutch disc in the car. I have a pretty worn disc from last couple of seasons we re surfaced on a Blanchard grinder. I may just leave it while I’m getting the new tire setup dialed in so I don’t wear out a new disc getting it adjusted.

Looks real nice! Love the fact that it has a clutch. Looking forward to seeing more of this build.

Thank you this car will always have a clutch
I am pretty unhappy with the tin work from the chassis shop it could have been a lot better. We are remaking some of the things that they should have done.
