Loud noise/grinding from rear end

Recently got a Camaro V6 RS the car has only 100 miles on it driving thru town and I'm hearing a loud grinding noise from the rear end in 1st gear. Any thoughts--the tires are fine and it doesn't happen every time

Parking brake off?

Check brake rotors, look for any leaks, look at your dog bones. Feel your rear end parts and see if any are hotter than others (friction).

Brakes, bearings or gears...

Take it back to where you got it ASAP and have them look at it...

if its nothing that was mentioned in the previous post, i think there is a TSB about an exhaust heat shield rubbing on the driveshaft or something. you might wanna check that out

your probably tagged for for tires. Same shit happened to me and someone else as well. Got in car and front left was making the worst grinding noise so I parked the car and was taking it in to the shop the next day to see whats up and bam... car was on blocks and wheels gone. They wedge rocks between the rotor and plate behind it I would assume so its parked for their taking..:paddle: careful bro
