2014 SS wheels VS 2010

Guys !!

So Im planning on buying the 2014 SS but I hate those wheels, and I like the 2010 wheels more.

Im thinking also about those forged black 1LE wheels ?

Which one do you recommend as Im not familiar with the weights of each type but I dont want to compromise on the performance of the car for the look.

Thanks for the help in advance :pop2:

If you like the black wheels, then why not go 14 1LE? Its not going to be much more than a regular SS and you'll get the wheels.

Just buy a 2014 1LE it be the best thing vs an ss and then buying the wheels

thats what made me get the 1LE. i bought the rear end and then was looking into the aftermarket 1LE's. same price for those 2 items got me the whole 1LE package.

I cant buy the 1LE for two reasons, first it is not available in my country and with the major road works we have and will have here it is a crisis to drive manual for at least the coming five years.

Thats why Im forced to buy those wheels separately, but anyway do I understand that you recommend them over the normal SS wheels ??

Are they lighter ??

They are lighter...they're also about $1100 each from the factory (I debated buying an extra set) I gotta say though they look incredible no matter what color camaro they're on. Best of luck!

You save about 6-7 lbs per wheel...you'll also have to buy new tires. The perelli's from the stock SS won't fit...the 1LE comes with Goodyear eagle F1 super car G:2 tires those will end up being around $400 each just so you can price it all out

I agree, the 2013-2014 wheels are hideous. Get these instead and save some $$$. ZL1 reproductions: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=292326

I know bro but 2014 ZL1 is a total freak. It has the worse front with the worse butt :barf:.

At least the SS and 1LE front looks better.

Totally agree.

I'm a big fan of these wheels, best OEM wheels I've ever seen. So much so that I'm about to another set of wheels for the road course, and decided to buy another set of 1LE/ZL1 black wheels. Light and bad to the bone. Now I've just got to find a set for a reasonable price.

Not a fan of the reproductions. They're probably cast and heavy enough to drag you to the bottom of the sea.
