POLL Would you reall buy

Come on tell the truth if the Z28 is a $45,000+ car not including tax, title, etc. Would you really buy it?

FloydSummerOf68 08-05-2010 12:31 PM

At 45K I think it will be priced appropriately, however I wouldn't be looking to buy one.

I fear that it'll start in the low 50k range though.

Michael_Js 08-05-2010 12:38 PM

That's what I spent on my 2SS with taxes, lic, reg, etc etc...so, would have bought it if was out the same time as I bought last year. Now? Not trading up ;)

FloydSummerOf68 08-05-2010 12:42 PM

Ha ha...one vote for all 5 options right now.

nards444 08-05-2010 12:47 PM

at 45 even assuming you buy no extras with tax (7%) your looking at 48k. so really by the time its said and done it would run you 50k. I think it will have a MSRP of 49.99 personally plus tax title.

SilverTurtle 08-05-2010 02:11 PM

yes, I'd buy it at $45,000+... but I'm also the guy that would buy a Z06 instead of a Grand Sport because of the extra HP and the upgraded suspension/body tidbits

you gotta pay to play

45K sounds good to me.

Mr. Wyndham 08-06-2010 09:12 PM

YUP! In a heartbeat!

CaniacFan 08-06-2010 09:19 PM

Absolutely for $45, paid $36+ for my 2SS/RS. But I'm afraid it's going to be closer or slightly over $50 when it's all said and done. If it's out of my price range, I'm damn happy to be driving my 2010 CGM (at least until the kods are out of college)..

AMPM1678 08-06-2010 09:21 PM

I would. . . if I was intrested in buyin the Z Im more than happy with my 2SS

Qdiesel 08-06-2010 10:07 PM

I will be buying it regardless, 45k or more cause it's what I will have been planning for for 2 years.

mlee 08-06-2010 10:18 PM

45K... LOL... a decked out SS is almost that. I'll still take one for low 50s...

2SSRS@Gen5diy 08-06-2010 10:39 PM

It less then the ZR1 i want to buy.

djsnoflake 08-06-2010 10:42 PM

Haha, being in Canada, I already paid more than 45,000 (About 52,000 once you add it all up, actually) for my 2SS.

You guys need to step it up!
