If it is so easy then why was it not accomplished? nice times though!

Hey, where are you, 10 second runs were easily accomplished like I said they would :chevy:

I am going to say the red car is probabaly the 650hp package and the yellow car is the 700hp package.

that would be my guess. of course the ford people will say these times suck but 10.75@134 in a 4120lb car is moving out.

It's the constant regurgitation of the SAME nonsense speculation that is OVERLY annoying!

Better this than the old, "Mustang verses...oh, where did the Camaro go?"

Nicely done.

gt500 2013 is about 400-500lbs lighter with race seats (an dealer option on the car) straight line zl1 will get smoked, mustang still ulgy though :P lol. If zl1 will need about 50-100 more hp to haul that extra weight and beat the 2013 gt500, soo 2014 we can bite back maybe? Big advantage of camaro though is that huge engine bay, so might as well get a LSX454 in there ;)

Ummm. I'm just wondering....do you realize the lsx454 gets its extra cubes from a bigger bore and longer stroke. So, the engine bay really makes no difference in that as the external dimensions stay the same. Just an FYI.

No they just get over rated IE 2001 Cobras :sm0:

It was actually 1999 Cobras. It was a production error. Once it was corrected, they made a bit more than 320hp. 2001's never had this problem

That's because GM didn't lie to you about the GTO's horse power rating at the crank unlike Ford did and they got caught doing it, that's something to never forget. They had to "Save Face" somehow, and what better way than to underrate the supercharged cobra's hp rating to make it easier to forget their past false advertising and betrayal of consumer trust.

344 rwhp sounds about normal for a crank rating of 400 hp, of course that's really based on doing the dyno run with the proper correction factors.

They didn't lie, it was a production error in the manifold, which they performed a recall for. They also put on a updated cat-back. Ford actually handled the whole ordeal quite well
