I would do it again for sure!! :thumb: Great venue, even though it was a drive for us folks in South Texas, I would fo sho do it again! I say YES! YES!!!

I would go again. So many places to go in the area I only was able to see a very small part of it.

Definitely liked the area.

I agree, I didn't have time to the Corvette Museum Tour, along with doing a couple laps on the Road Course, among other stuff... There was just so much to do in so little time. I'm all for heading back up to do this again.

Texas is argueably west. They did call it the wild west and the frontier in history class. Spose when i hear west people mean centralized west like NV area. Which would be cool but ridiculously hot but i'm for Vegas or Bowling Green.

Area was excellent, definitely do it again and take more days off for vacation to explore the area.

I heard so many how the drag strip was bad...I wouldn't even think of going unless they had in writing they would prep the track better.

The drag strip was not prepped well during test and tune on Friday. Once it was brought to my attention we got them going on it. It was not the tracks fault but ours for not monitoring close enough and I heard no problems on Saturday or Friday during bracket racing for that matter. Camaro5 was paying for prep not the track so it's all on us and we got it fixed.

Mammoth cave being right up the road, Nashville being an our away, awesome food everywere, awesome locals and police department(just dont do doughnuts and run), awesome road course, drag strip has alot of room, an amusement park on location and it being fairly central for the East coast. I think its awesome. Thats why LSfest is there every year.

I didn't run but the track definitely didn't seem to be prepped well. Which us strange because it has been great every LSFest we have been to down there. I've seen several record breaking runs there.

Retro69 08-14-2015 12:38 PM

Pleeeeeze! Out west!

Like I mentioned above. Track prep was on us not Beech Bend.

There will be a cruise somewhere if we go back. Many many routes available.
