Camaro 1LE being prepped for SCCA T2 Racing
Thought everyone would enjoy this video. Apparently it beat the T2 class record for the track they were at, during trials and they think they can still get more out of it.

That's pretty awesome!

Cool video.....not sure I care for the black/gold color combo.

It's reminiscent of a 60's Z28 Trans Am racecar Smokey Yunick #13.

It is great seeing muscle being able to handle. A fast SCCA time is a huge deal. When I go to events, I do ride alongs with some muscle guys, and they consistently get slower times than the guys like me with our 100hp Miata's (hate me, it's a drivers car and I don't care about your opinions.) I have had the opportunity to ride in a C4 Vette that had suspension work done, and it ran some of the quickest times of the day, and did run fastest in his class. I would die to drive one of these 1LE's.

This is the track I ran with my ZL1.

This was less than 24 hours after the car was finished for race prep.. amazing Todd did a great job there. the only reason he took second is the race was called due to weather. Here are a few pics of the T2 car as well as his world challenge car. |
Awesome! :headbang:
Hope to see lots of Camaro's at the Brainerd International Raceway hosted Muscle Car Shootout drags and SCCA Trans-Am races during the Aug. 31st - Sept. 2nd weekend. Will be really cool to see more ZL1, 1LE/SS Camaro's during this combo event. |

Here are a few more from C5F3. No he doesn't race with the OEM SS rims. Those are my extra set on there because he needed all his rims and rubber for racing his World Challenge Car @ Mid-Ohio that weekend.
