Be careful with who you let touch your exhaust...
Just got my Solo high flow cats installed at a muffler shop. I was so excited to hear them and was instantly depressed when I heard my car cranked for the first time. It sounded quieter than stock and like it was struggling to stay running. The owner told me to let them season and to drive home pretty heavy on the gas. I did just that and the car went into limp mode with a CEL. I got home and saw the dreaded O2 codes on my reader. I decided to look at the shops handiwork and discovered they forgot to reconnect the O2 sensors. (At the clips not at the bungs). :frusty:
Pretty annoying but a simple fix. Car sounds like a dang race car now. Too much stress for one day. I need a beer |
Waiting for mine in the mail, glad to hear they sound good, once properly connected lol. Thanks for the heads up

Sorry to hear that. I had mine installed this past Spring and did a lot of research on local installers before hand. It paid off in the long run. Once you have it right, you'll love them!

It's on my list of things to do after tires etc. I'm betting it'll be in winter storage before I get to it. :(
