John Deere Racer vs. Neumatic

For anyone that missed it, John Deere Racer and I had some great races in hot lap fashion between 11-1130am on Friday. I am car #517 (17 on some of the slips) and John Deere Racer is car #519. If anyone has any picture or videos of our runs post them up, id really love to see some action shots or videos myselfl.

Very nice. Jason nice job on the 11.8's etc, is that the quickest you've gone in your ZL1?

John Deere Racer 08-06-2013 01:15 PM

No I've ran a .60 b4

Da wasn't Good Friday

I ran 2 11.80 Friday
I don't think it was against muewmantic though

Heat soak kills the zl1
Doesn't like hot laps
Kills ET 2 ths and 2mph

John Deere Racer 08-06-2013 01:18 PM

Every race was within a fender length every time
Was way fun

Agreed, I was wondering how long you would keep goin on the hot laps. What was up with the one pass that you had like a 6 second r/t?

John Deere Racer 08-06-2013 04:08 PM

Lol I killed it
Then had wait till I got traction control off

John Deere Racer 08-06-2013 04:33 PM

I'd like to know our race weights

Lol
I was in street trim
Still had 2 child booster seats in the rear seat

:fear:I keep saying myself that I wish traction control/stabiltrak was just on/off. I hate sitting there holding the button for what seems like an eternity before I can actually have some fun. Especially when I forget to turn it on in the staging lanes and notice when Im about to do a burnout and the track guy is giving me that wtf are you waiting for look.:bellyroll:

John Deere Racer 08-06-2013 04:58 PM

Lol
Yep

I turn it off everytime I get in the car

John Deere Racer 08-06-2013 07:08 PM

John y didn't u make the shirt drive down

I ran a 11.80@120

Pic of that pass is in hrd work thread

It's against a 45th with a big good and new welds that 1 want

Pro Stock John 08-06-2013 07:52 PM

Couldn't really get away. Besides my little 368rwhp car can't keep up with your 592rwhp beast. Though I can be 45 lbs lighter from when I went 12.20. :)

Man you guys were going at it! Me and a couple of my buddies stayed at the track just to keep watching your grudge matches, lol.

If I remember Ill hit the scales next time I go to the track. I was at about 1/4 tank, only real weight savings being I had my 18" drag radials on. Those ZL1's weight a few hundred more then the SS' right?
