Ported intake manifold
Well, finally got enough miles on the car to dyno test. (LS3 6 speed manual) Pretty happy with the results Stock- 380.17rwhp/380.42rwtq. Did a few runs to make sure testing was accurate, it didn't vary more than 1 hp/tq between highest and lowest pull. We had a manifold that has been ported with some pretty good flowbench results. Decided that we should test it out. Worked really well. 390.68rwhp/386.21rwtq. At this point there has been no computer programming done. We have a FAST manifold coming for testing later this week, we will see how it does against the ported stock one.

NICE numbers!!!!

wait wait, is this GREG?????
Yep, Greg here. Just been a little silent until it got broken in. Now the parts tests are on.
Did you do anything special on the break in?? How many miles when you dynoed it?
I wanted to have 1500 miles for break in, but it was taking too long. I did this at 750 miles. I simply broke it in hard. I ran it to redline often and drove around no more that third gear a lot. Lots of downshift deceleration. I have had a lot of LS engines and they all seem to like to be broken in hard.
I broke mine in the same exact way. I might have gone into 4th a few times. Wheres your dyno? And how much is a dyno run???
My dyno is in the ground, in my shop. LOL A little east of Brandon on Parsons avenue. $75.00 and you get 3 pulls and wideband o2.
Cool, how much do you charge to port the intake mani?
Thanks for the info, keep it coming!
i think I might be at or over the 400 rwhp mark
Pretty awesome that you picked up that much HP/TQ from porting the manifold. This'll beg good news for all of the "warranty" guys on this board.
