So I went to the dealer today, just to poke my head around and ask a few questions. I haven't purchased my Camaro yet because I've been waiting to hear more about the Z28. Well the dealer told me today that they are still expecting the Z to be produced and available some time mid to the end 2011. I can't wait. Its still suppose to have the supercharged 6.2 cts-v motor and everything as well. I am so excitied and I just hope Chevy comes threw for us lol.

I'm getting excited now, GM, make us the Supercharged Z-28.

so are you getting a 2010/11 for the time being?

I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I have an 07 impala right now with no payments so its just tempting to save until it does come out. Have some more mod money hahahaa but who knows especually at the price point I think its going to be. I think it will be competeting with the gt500 which is going to put it over the 50k mark. I could get a 2010 and just build one bad ass motor for the extra money and make it turbo instead of a supercharger.

:idiot: Your dealer has no inside information on the Z28. Anything they told you has little basis in fact.

I was talking to a salesman about two weeks ago and he told me the Z was coming out in the fall of 11'.

I was talking to my dealer yesterday and he said that a friend of his knows a guy that works at a dealership in Michigan near Detroit and that has a brother that works across the street from GM headquarters said that the only info that's available currently is that we all want the Z/28 to come out.

Seriously, the sales guys have no idea. There are dealers who are members of this site who regularly distribute information that is appropriate for customers to know. If your sales consultant is giving you information that does not coincide with the information eagerly and quickly provided by some of Camaro5's dealers, then it simply isn't based in truth. Even if the car does come out at that time, then your salesperson made a lucky guess.

The next time your sales consultant tells you about a Z28, be sure to ask about the brakes, suspension, transmission, and most importantly the engine. They don't know anything, and this will prove it. ;)

Sorry to bring up a sore subject for some of you? Personally I don't think the z if it ever comes out is going to be worth the money were going to have to pay. Its just like the Hennessey hpe700 car.

They drop a ls9 into the car, supposidly bump the hp by around 100 and it still doesn't come close to comparing the the zr1 lol and i priced well over by about 15k lol. Just doesn't make sense to me.

I know a guy that knows a guy that knows a guy that knows a guy's cousin that knows a guys friend that he thinks it is going come out on day of a week of a month of a year of a decade of a century, etc.

I'm begging to learn it's best I don't come to this forum to learn about Z28 info, as there's never any real facts only dozens of the same threads being created.

We usually get the info first, but there isn't any info to be had yet. :iono:
