Had both of my Grandparents lose their battles with Cancer within a day of each other so I took some time off to drive down to Florida to see them off.

Took a couple pics on the way there and back. No pro shots here, just some plain old cell pics with an HDR app.

Enjoy!

I'm not up on my history or anything like that, so don't flame...but what does the 9:01 and 9:03 signify?

Was that times bombs were dropped or something?

Sorry for your loss, seems like it was a good trip otherwise.

Ivan @ Southwest Speed 06-17-2011 10:39 AM

Thanks for the consideration y'all....they were great people and lived full lives! Loved em tremendously.

The Oklahoma City Bombing took place at exactly 9:02.

So the two walls represent the innocence of the "before" and the tragedy of the "after."

There is a constantly running bed of water in between the two walls.

Must see on everybody's Bucket List. Very amazing.

I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. I cant think a better car to take on a trip like this. Finishing it off with a Texas sunset is the way to do it.
To bad you didnt go to Caddilac ranch in amarillo.

Again very sorry to hear for your loss.
