Engine install
I don't know if this is right spot. I'm getting ready to install my engine and decided to go from the bottom. My question is do I have to disconnect the A/c system and the power steering pump. I have seen so many different ways of doing and mostly they are for f-body. I took it out from the top but I want to get everything together and just stick it all in at once. Any advice, DIY or videos.

Drop the cradle , or pull it from the top . In the long run your better off pulling it from the top .

I lost my partner that was helping install it and after looking around a bit I have noticed alot of people can do it with one person going through bottom. Of course that's f-body. I know most speed shops go from bottom also. I have the engine built up almost all the way besides the intake. Looking in the engine bay it just looks so my much easier dropping the k member but I know I'm probably missing something. Lol

Just zip tie the a/c unit out of the way after unbolting it so you doin't discharge it. Everything steering and hydraulic drops down except for the cooler in condenser bottom so you lose fluid but not a big deal and you will refill and bleed when reconnected.

I was thinking the power steering unit was also connected to evaporator also or atleast there was a line going to on from the steering rack. I will need to take a Pic when I get home. This can save such a headache

The power steering is connector to the AC condensor on both sides (one nipple each side)

Will that require me to just bleed the power steering system that's all.? Sorry about the question but trying to get away with not doing more crap than need to.

Power steering should be easy to bleed. Leave the cap off and turn the wheel back and forth?
