Why aren't you going to C5Fest??

Why aren't you at C5Fest?

Couple reasons for me. Cars no where close to being finished and ready to drive and it would have take 4 days each way because I was going to trailer the car. My girlfriend also wanted to drive her camaro out there.....and gass is too expensive right now! Oh.....and I live on the west coast :bellyroll:

Heat, can't stand the heat. This will be worse than AZ cause it's humid

3700 miles on my car and at least $3000 for Gas and 9 - 10 days food and lodging, assuming I don't run into problems. That's a lot of mod money or 4 tickets on a really nice week long Ocean cruise or all-inclusive resort vacation. :iono:

Fly in and rent a Camaro from Enterprise at $780.00 for 3 days? I don't think so...

It was a tough decision; do I use up 9-10 days of vacation time from work and spend a few thousand for 3 days of entertainment? Or spend it on mods...I spent the money on a twin disk clutch and SFI certified steel flywheel that's 22 lbs lighter than the stock clutch/flywheel, and a cam and tune. All of which I'm going to enjoy every day year, after year, after year. :D

If they have the next one in Texas or Colorado I'll probably go.
