So, You have a friend who has a Camaro...

As the title says...

You like to modify yours, your of the opinion that performance gains is money well spent.

MEANWHILE, your friend has won 3 car shows in a row back to back and he spends 12-18 hours detailing his vehicle.

What's the best Christmas Present you can think of for him or the other type of person?

For my friend:

I would rather have a bottle of 303 and some microfiber towels.

I would see what kind of detailing products they use and get them some, or a GC to where they can pick it up when they are out.

Maybe a nice quality 12 pack of beers you both enjoy so you can bond over performance upgrades and obsessive detailing?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ :happy0180:

I'd personally go with the detailing product your friend uses like mentioned before or something like a very nice car model.

As for those cleaning wipes, I personally see them as an emergency-use item. I once got too excited on a track and I got a lot of loose dirt in my car with an open window. It was a two-day event so I was not near my home. Those wipes were available at the local Canadian Tire and they got rid of the dirt on the seats. When I got back home after the trip, I cleaned the interior up with my usual stuff.

Show cars probably don't get driven much.

Booze and tickets to a concert he needs to find another hobby not just 1. I love detailing too, but not 12-18hrs anymore. F that.

As someone who likes to keep their car clean with top notch products and enjoys washing and detailing my vehicles, your best bet is to get him a $20+ gift card to his favorite detail/online store.

Armor all stuff is a joke btw.

The autoality detailers club is great.
You save a crazy amount of money on products. I have been a memeber for about 13years when it was started

I love how there are dodo people who try to say what a person should enjoy.

100%.

Armor All is great at marketing, not as great at product.

Get him a big costco pack of microfiber towels, I don’t think I, or anyone else can ever have enough of those.
