DRIVE: GT500 vs. ZL1 (by Chris Harris)
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/v6/logo6.gif Featured on Camaro5 HOMEPAGE Here is another review of the '13 GT500 and ZL1, by Chris Harris. Very honest review: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IrhW6W7eZDI |
The guy was hilarious but interesting review. Numbers are different though. 671hp for the GT500 and 588hp for the ZL1.:iono:

Yea don't know where he got his numbers, but great review otherwise! Unbiased, and it's still going to come down 90% of the time... Are you Team Chevy :headbang: , or team ford  ??

All I can say, from this and personal experience, is, I prefer a lady in public & a pro in private.lol. Thank God for all the competitors. It makes it better for us all.allowed

Metric calculation is slightly off of ours. If you look at the zr1 on certain euro tracks it says 647. Or lambo lp700 is only 691 by our calculations.

I just couldn't help grinning throughout the review. Such awesome cars!

That guys enthusiasm while he was driving the GT500 is contagious! Makes me want to go drive my car even though it isn't a GT500!
I think this is the best review I've seen of these two cars pitted against each other. |
"[The GT-500] is an engine looking for a chassis".
|
Its the way God intended it to be. Big front v8s, rear wheel drive, lots of power.

Much as I hate all the VS. stuff on the forum right now and useless bickering and bench racing, I thoroughly enjoyed this guy's interpretation of the cars.
The nice thing about him is he is unbiased based on brand and you can tell from his narrative. The other thing I like is he has obviously driven some cars in his time, and is very honest about his feelings of the vehicle. He also obviously knows his way round a track. Very good video, best I've seen on these cars. I like this guy, but he really needs to tone back his exuberance for BMW's...lol, every comparison he mentions is BMW.. |
