IF you were replacing your Camaro, what would you choose?
Hypothetical question for most on this forum probably. But IF you wanted to move on to something different, what would it be and why?
For me, it would be a BMW M2 Competition. I would keep the things I love about the Camaro: RWD, stick shift, 400+ horsepower/torque, phenomenal handling and braking. Would gain a better daily driver: smaller and lighter, better visibility, ergonomics, and storage. Would also gain refinement and quality. Would lose a few things though: exhaust note, menacing looks, and price value. |
GTR. That may actually be my next car.

If the wife wins the lottery my next car without question would be a 1961 Chevrolet Impala SS, 409/4 speed! I had one when I was a young man not respecting the car led to me totaling it. Purchasing that car when I was either 17 or 18 years old I thought I was so far in debt as I paid just about $2,000.00. Over 50 years after that dreadful accident I still miss that car so much. Oh I have seen a number of 61 Impalas in my life but it has to be the SS 409/4 speed. Dreams come true!
The pictures I am adding are not of my late 61 though mine was the same colors. Larry |
A second gen Camaro, a B-body, Monza/Vega, or a Nova, with hella hp and preferably with a m6.
The downsized montes from 78 on were cool looking too. It definitely would not be one of these battery operated cars GM thinks they are going to sell. |
