Your Aftermarket Rims

What are u guys considering for rims

I like these Boss 338's

http://www.jdwheels.com/images/Boss/...%20Tire%20.JPG

They really look old school plus the rims i have right now are Bosses and they are really reliable

So Fly in Memphis... when did that happen?

<--- 3 THA HARD WAY BOSS

And on the rims... I'm keeping the stocks and will have them powdercoated black and the rears widened 2". I don't really care too much for an old school look on this car... it has retro cues but in it's total execution it is decidely modern.

yeah.... 20's is gonna be my size but i like the 338's but i gotta think how many guys are gonna look the same?

The Cragar S/S are still smokin hot. Here is a reply from an inquire of mine to Cragar regarding the S/S,

The issue with the Camaro, and all the new cars, is the extreme positive
offset of the wheels. We will have something available for it for sure,
probably in an 18", 20", and 22".

Thanks

I mean so fly entertainment... I used to be a promoter in L.A. when Colin started So Fly... as a matter of fact if memory serves me correct I told him my idea for 3's Angels and he jacked it so we put together the Lady 3's instead. You ever talk to him tell him Grant said what's up.

And oh yea, my wife is from Memphis so Tennessee gets love over here!

22" rear 21" front HRE 948r in black with a red stripe on the outside part of the rim.

I'm going to make them look like rocks by making my own out of a play-dough/wet cardboard/aluminum slurry.

Scott,
I watched the video and tried to come up with somthing to say. I cant, I am just blown away at the waste of technology and R&D that went into those rims

Wow, has chivalry and authenticated wit and poise dwindled so severely in male society that this is what it takes to get the girl? I could've driven by her and expressed my interest vocally and probably have a similar effect without the thousands of dollars spent on those rims.

Folks, remember, cheap rims are heavy, weak, and poorly made.

That means they're a bitch to balance, slow you down, impact your braking, and are generally prone to bending. Sometimes they won't mount flush, crack, or beads won't seal. If you want OE quality, be prepared to spend more than 1000 on wheels alone, before tires.
