WadeWilson 10-31-2010 01:30 AM

Clean install Chris!

The catch can looks great. Interesting that it is on the other side of the engine bay from my Elite Engineering catch can.

Emma, can you get some pics of yours please? I'd like to get an idea on if they used the same hoses for yours? or if you used the hose on the other side of the maggie?

Thanks!

I went back through all the pics of the engine bay that I took. The catch can is hidden under the radiator shroud, so it's not visible in those. I'll have to see if I can get a better picture for you.

I do know that Brandon had to order a different set of hoses to make it work. If I remember right, he said that the hoses needed for the L99 are different that the LS3. You might want to PM IPS Brandon or call him tomorrow and ask him what the reason was. FYI: he installed the catch can when they put the supercharger in my car.

In the meantime, I'll see if I can get a better picture for you.

Cool.

That makes sense. looking at other ls3 maggies, I'm pretty sure I got it right.

But thanks very much for the help.

If I ever lock my keys in my car I ain't telling you guys about it

When my son was two, I put him in his car seat, it was hot out, so I reached over and put the keys in the ignition and started it so the A/C would kick on.... then I locked and closed his door... You can guess the rest

No, ARH has told me from the get go that with the amount of HP I'm making I need ot neck down my exhaust to get the best performance out of it. 3" all the way back flows a little to well. So yeah, back pressure and scavenging.

So, I got another set of axlebacks from Tom to try out.

I'm getting a Dyno set up to check and see if there is a noticeable difference.

ARH says it won't be much, but it will allow the whole exhaust to perform better.

And you are one of those pretty damn cool people...

One of my favorite posts here is your video of the takeoff and flyby. If that doesn't make you feel alive...

Plus all the Orange pics at THR are just too funny.
