JMAN311 05-01-2012 01:04 PM

Cool stuff, I guess the top speed, best lap, avg speed, avg lap, and lap time history features will help dispell any doubts people still might have about Chevy having issues with this beast being on a track.

jbotta 05-01-2012 03:50 PM

GREAT VIDS,

slick rick 05-03-2012 11:30 PM

I cringed a little when they let the gas cap dangle onto the car body :yikes:

IcePick06 05-04-2012 12:35 AM

glad they made these videos cuz I hate reading

I also confirmed today that the "no lift" upshift on manual transmission are independent of PTM modes...meaning you DO NOT need to be in PTM mode 1-5 in order to utilize the "no lift" shifts...you just need to be shifting at full throttle (past 5,500RPM)

MYZL12013 05-04-2012 11:29 AM

Hi Guys,

I just joined your website a few days ago I preordered my 2013 ZL1 coupe in orange with every options can't wait for it to come. The price with taxes in was $75,000. well in Toronto Canada anyways.

MYZL12013 05-04-2012 11:35 AM

I was wondering is the 2013 ZL1 going to have more or the same horsepower? What do you think the ZL1 will be worth down the road?

LAWMAN 05-04-2012 03:33 PM

i have never(only tried twice) to master the launch control on my "SS" both times i read the manual before trying, when i would let off the clutch,it would stick to the floor and could smell the clutch burning ,dont know if something was wrong or if i was'nt doing it correctly,

PYROLYSIS 05-04-2012 05:01 PM

Just found these. What a great service to the customer. I hope they make these for the 1LE.

Rice Killer 05-04-2012 09:30 PM

Nice vids! Thank you.

jerry265 05-05-2012 01:17 AM

Best video yet

This is hands down the best high overview videos produced yet. I like they simplistic yet informative dialog style that is being used. I gives you just enough information to pique your interest and then refers you to the owners manual.

:thumbup:GOOD JOB GM:thumbup:

v6sonoma 05-05-2012 03:05 PM

It's like Camaro porn!

PQ 05-06-2012 11:31 AM

I'm gonna start a thread and complain.

:bellyroll:
:bellyroll:

Joking of course BUT every time I read up on the ZL1 I get a little less excited about keeping my car.

Not really.

Yes really.

lol

No not really.

maybe a little.

:D Not really.

...

IcePick06 05-06-2012 10:35 PM

Anybody else notice the front left tire was pretty low (PSI) compared to the other three? :yikes:

The ZL1 videos affectionately remind me of this (the similarities are downright eery!):

Seriously guys, good luck with your ZL1's. :):chevy:

It is one freaking awesome machine.

I wasn't posting it as a "yet unseen" video, so it's not an actual "repost".

I was just pointing out amusing similarities of concept between it and Chevy's new ZL1 vids.

Thanks for keeping an eye out though! ;)

Nice Job Camaro team. Great videos and great product support. Thanks.

joes407 05-12-2012 08:20 AM

awesome vids!!! its not natural for me to keep my foot on throttle 100% while shifting. i always forget the newer camaros have that option. cant wait to try that.

BIGBLKZL1 06-03-2012 11:09 PM

Are there ZL1 specific manuals that should have come with my car? My Ford Raptor came with 2 that were written just for the Raptor. I was a bit surprised when I got home and just had the standard Camaro manuals.

Godsplumber 06-07-2012 05:32 PM

Great vids

Yes I agree with you on the fully deepressed throttle and shifting. It's second nature to lift off the gas for a "second" when shifting, it will be Interesting getting used to after the break in time.

I find those videos very informative ... I drive a 2011 SS, the tap shift modes in the ZL1 are similar to the SS, I learned about them through these videos though!
