i was using poor source...you are correct:

because not everybody likes the camaro, because you don't have to pay over sticker for a mustang/challenger, because you don't have to wait half a year to get your car, because other people simply prefer the mustang/challenger.

Good point.
I drive a Mustang, but will be getting a Camaro next year when all the hype settles down and hopefully not as high a dealer markup.

They have the green $$

the 2010 Chevy Camaro is KING!!! mustank sales will continue 2 deteriate and that makes me very happy the horsepower #'s for the 2010 ford mustake is a disgrace the design is also an eye sore i thought the challenger would have sold more units than that i aint no mopar man but the challenger is a great car a much better car than the mustank

IF YOUR KEEPING COUNT

GM sold 15397 Camaros thru June . :w00t:

Not questioning your stat but I'm curious how cars already sold have VIN's showing build #'s over 24,000? Some are even on this site. I can't imagine there's 7,000 cars sitting on dealer lots not sold???? Am I missing something on the sequential numbering in the VIN's?

when the challenger first came out, your dodge dealers were taking bids,as far as the continued musjunk buyers, they dont know what a real sports car is until they sit their buttocks in a camaro,i know of a few who own mustangs and have seen and or driven the maro trade up to the maro,:chevy::chevy:

Dealers get allocations, you should find out from your dealer how many people are in front of you and how many allocations they get per month. From when you get allocated it takes an estimated 8 to 12 weeks to get the car. Make sure your dealer is not taking advantage of you.

Furthermore, there are dealerships in every area that are not raising the price above MSRP. Find those dealerships and try to order from them.

has anyone else heard that there is a delay on the manual transmissions?
i ordered my camaro a little over a month ago and it hasn't moved AT ALL!
and i asked the dealer why and he said "there's a slow down on the manual transmissions"!! just wondering if anyone else has this "problem".
