That's why I want to find out if the owner knows. If the Salesman is just making the decision on his own, or if the policy has changed.

Ordered mine from Rose Chev Hamilton, Ohio back in October. A great dealership!!!!!!!!! They only wanted $250 to order it with no mark up!!!!!! I have purchased 3 new cars from them in the past and I have been very satisifed.

I just spoke with Stan Dobies....I guess they aren't doing GMS for everyone....:iono:

From Belpre, south of Marietta, ordered a 2SS RS, Yellow w/black interior #1312, from Parkersburg, WV, no markup, good dealer. Wish it would get here. Someone down the road was impatient, paid 15k over msrp, that dealer offered his next one for 15k over, can't see it. At msrp the dealer still makes about 1700.

Wow I'm late to the party but I'm still the first to post from the Columbus area. I owned a 2000 dark blue Trans Am (RIP) and a 2000 bright red Camaro SS I got slightly used after some jelous moron drove me off the road and totaled the Trans Am. :cry: Now I'm waiting for my 2LT from Jack Maxton Chevy... very good and responsive dealer. :thumbup:

Well bartking, I'm the second person from the Columbus area. Dublin, Ohio. I'm also waiting for my RJT 2SS/RS from Jack Maxton. I got the L99 auto with 20" polished wheels. I'm at 3400 and waiting patiently. Once we both have our Camaros, we'll have to hook up.

Picked up our car last Thursday, 2SS, W/RS pkg, Rally Yellow, Black Leather, sunroof, automatic. What a great car. Will post pictures when I figure out how to on this site. Can anyone help? What do I do to post pictures?

Put them on a photo hosting site like photobucket or whatnot.

I expect both you and bartking to bring your Camaros to the Jack Maxton Friday Night Cruises during the summer. I'm from Westerville. My dad was driving yesterday and saw a yellow 5th gen Camaro on the road yesterday in Columbus.

Glad to visit cruising night. Use to cruise to Asbury Park with the '66 to listen to Springsteen at the Stone Pony back in the 70's.

Just dropped in to Jack Maxton last night (sorry no camera with me) and they have a blue 2SS/RS sitting in the show room. The sales manager said the owner was kind enough to let them show it off for a few days before he takes delivery. Mines still sitting at 3400.:popcorn:
