This seems like more of a display of all the different ways you can get a muscle car these days rather than a comparison. All three have distinctly different focuses, and should all find different buyers.
only 3 seconds faster than the mustang?...I don't think so.
Considering a 1LE will take a GT by over 2 seconds on a shorter track, I'm calling bs there too.
For most people the decision of what is the best was made before the video even started. Different strokes for different folks. Thankfully there's one for everyone. =)

I've been on gingerman. 3 seconds on that track is a lot. can the z28 go faster than the 1:41.8.... probably so....
The 1LE (actual T2race car) driven by an acquaintance racer of mine set a new track record back about 2yrs ago. trying to find the time for the class.... I think it was around 1:43s |
Man, the Z28 sounds WAY cooler than the challenger and the challenger just looks bumpy and might be more fun if it wasn't such a boat. I love all 3 cars though
Yeah it seemed that he got off the gas too soon in the turns with the Z/28,i believe he could have stayed in it longet considering the brakes that the Z has
Notice the breaking zones between the Z and the mustang. He stays on the throttle a good second longer entering the last turn while driving the mustang. Either trying to pull closer numbers, or he felt more comfortable after taking laps in the Z first.

I don't understand this match up... A Z-28 that is a known track car, that is what it was designed for, I mean if you want AC and a Stereo, you have to actually order that. They match it up with the Hellcat and a 5.0? The Hellcat should be matched with the ZL1 or the Vette Z06. The 5.0's competition is the Camaro SS...Such a weird match up, there isn't a winner here, there can't be they are all in different classes.
