NCM FRIDAY Road Course Sign Up (Camaro Fun Fest by MichaelsMaro)

Since corvette museum road course is open for business and I already signed up for an event there in april. Is there going to be one held during the camaro fest in bowling green.

I would be very interested in mixing it up with some of my 1LE and Z28 brothern.

This is Chris1SS1LE The data below is not mine and I have no affiliation with thursdays event nor do I with camarofest, so please do not PM me asking for assistance. The moderators have modified my post by adding the event information below

1st off I would like to say that this event is not part of the Camaro5 Fest.
This event is being held by a Loyal Camaro/Corvette owner, that has a passion for road racing.
I am calling my track day event Camaro Fun Fest
I am also proud to say that MTI RACING will be participating in this event also
www.mtiracing.com

The event will be run by a company called seat-time.com/ Jon Krolewicz has been doing track days for over 15 years.
This event is a HPDE
We will be running 4 run groups
5 sessions= around 2 1/2 hours of track time
We will be also offering parade laps during the lunch hour, we have not set a fee yet on the parade laps, portions of the fee will go to the track for charity.
List of run groups
Novice with a instructor 25
Intermediate 25
Solo 25
Advance 25
We are limiting this event to 100 entry's
Where to register

The listed heading is Camaro Fun Fest

This sounds like a great idea, it would be really awesome.

RLHMARINES 12-10-2014 08:11 AM

That would be a great bonus for the fest that I would definitely signup for.

Renting both places out is going to be expensive

Agreed, though good practice for LSFest.

:D

I've got the track reserved for Thursday so it doesn't interfere with any attendance at Beech Bend. From what I understand, it's already taken Fri-Sun anyway. I'll have to clarify on that. But ... and, it's going to run around 10K to rent it out. Those wishing to run will have to pay their track fee (to be determined based on # of people allowed to race).

The only issue?

You obviously can't have hundreds of people signing up for this. Anyone who's been racing before knows you don't really want to exceed 20 min of full bore racing in these cars and you don't want 40 cars on the track at once. Too many people will cause problems and you can also only push these cars so far before needing to let them cool down.

It's probably going to be somewhere around 60 open spots, Contract info is being sent over today and I'll have to look it all over. We simply can NOT go to Bowling Green and NOT get on this track. That would be NUTS!!!11!!@>!#RLKOEW)!!!

That's about $170 per car great deal! Track day's are usually around $300 for 5 to 6 20 minute sessions.

Exactly. Price can fluctuate...so let's not settle on that dollar figure yet. We have to get final numbers from the track including insurance and then we'll go from there. I'm thinking $200 right now to play it safe. It could easily drop, though.
