just wondering about ordering Hurst shifter
On your workbench order sheets, if you ordered the Hurst shifter, dose it say dealer installed? I talked to my dealer, and told him that the shifter is not available, he said that they will be installing the hurst shifter, and as far as he knows it was still available. said he will check and get back to me.

Grammar....must....resist. I'm sure if you use the SEARCH button you'll find some threads dedicated just to this.

Last I heard. Hurst shifter was a constraint. If you keep it on your order it will be delayed. I'd remove it and buy it after and have your dealer install it. Or buy it yourself. Some people on here have found it for $218. Just do a search, you'll find what you're looking for.

Sorry I can't help ya. Don't recall what it says at this point. However, your dealer should be able to get ahold of one, wouldn't ya think?

Constraint just means that demand exceeds supply. It does not mean that availability is zero. So even if it's on constraint some people will still get them.

My dealer called last week and told me that he had just removed the shift from my order for me because it would delay my order, of course he also said he expected my order to be pulled the next day..... I still have not heard back from him. I'm not surprised, we ordered cgm... he did say that it could be dealer installed for about the same price later.
Still waiting .... |
Just talked to my dealer yesterday...currently I still have the shifter option checked, but he said I would be in his "second wave" of cars so maybe it will be available by then. He did tell me I should expect the car by the end of April.

I jast called my dealership and had them pull the Hurst shifter so my order will be pulled.
