Sorry I had to leave so soon. Lots of great cars (NSX ) and people. I never realized how big the Porsche crowd was.

Gen5SS2010 07-18-2015 04:59 PM

A lot of Porsche and BMWs. Looks like a lot of vette people also. It was great seeing you and your new ride. So sweet!!!

Porsche guys were cool, BMW folks seemed to keep to themselves. There were more vettes there than I was expecting.

Hmm. Let me ask around then. Are you willing to come as far as LR?

Fieryfight 09-16-2015 08:12 AM

Yes I am willing to go to LR, thanks for the help!

Give these guys a try. The used to be at Southern Street Machines and just opened their own shop. I can't remember his name, but just say you were referred by a customer of Pete's at Southern Street Machines and he should treat you right.

Don't forget Cars and Coffee this Saturday. If we can get a few more out we'll finally out number the Bimmer folks.

Gretchen,

I need your thoughts. Since you now have the Z06, would you rather have a z06 or would you entertain a zl1 camaro? I'm just wondering. I am looking at both. Z06 is a 09 and the ZL1 is a 13. Both with below average miles. The ZL1 is very stock. The z06 has had 2 owners and slight mods, but I haven't been able to review it closely.

Any comments you have are welcomed. Thanks

Hard choice. I love the Vette, but I don't need a back seat. The ride in the ZL1 will be better than the C6 Z06, too. I also like the Camaro seats better than in the last gen Z06. BUT, I love that LS7 and the Z06 carves the curves incredibly well. I would go with the Vette, hut you need to drive both and get the one you like best. You really can't govwrong either one.
