Some are saying that customer order production started TODAY
 

Today, as we all know, was the original production start date for the car. Apprently one of the mods on LS1tech.com was told that his car was being built today, and that he would have it by March. There is a thread on cz28 around a guy who recently drove a 2SS and was told by somebody in Oshawa that production did in fact start today, and that it was questionable as to why everyone is being told production starts 3/16. Lastly, my dealer insists that production starts today, despite me telling him that people like Scott and Ed Wilburn have announced that it starts 3/16.

I just think that the above is the result of misinformation - but this is one time when I wouldn't mind being lied to.

My dealer is saying the same thing. Coincidence I think not. We can only hope that in some extremely miracle like way this is gonna happen.

I'm still sticking with the theory that my dealer is an idiot.

I was told the same information at a local dealership. They were under the impression that the production cars were currently being built.

Maybe just maybe GM could be trying to surprise us?

I won't believe it until one of our resident experts says it is true... Until then It is all unsubstaniated rumors.. and I for one am getting tired of them.
