3300 mi road trip in 2010 SS (!!pics added!!)

Got back from our little road trip last weekend. We took the SS on a ~3300 mi road trip from here in Chicago IL, through Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Missouri and finally back home here in Chicago. I have pics of the car in different states at different places... When I have a bit of time, I'll update this thread with more info and the pics..

When cruising along on the highway between 55-70 (depending on the State), with myself and my gf, and our luggage, I was getting 23-25MPG as long as I had my cruise set on a steady state. Even when loaded up with stuff from the trip, the MPG didn't change.. The ride was great, the car is nice and broke in now for sure.. =)

I started with 750mi on the Odo and got back with right at 4000

This car definitely does well on long road trips for us.. Got many looks from other people and saw several other Camaros on the trip..

I drove from MA to SC and GA a month after I got mine - it was awesome!! Last October there were less Camaro's around but it was still fun to see them driving by on the other side fo the road - and the looks you get are alwasy fun :D

Very cool... but I'd much rather tow it across all those states... 3,000+ miles on my car would give me a heart attack! I'm still breathing heavily after breaking 400 after only 2 weeks of owning it.

Right after I got my car me and the wife took it to Southern California for vacation. It was a great time.

Yeah but yours is a Mustang so it can get mileage on it. Who cares about those cars anyway. I'm kidding by the way.

It's all good, we had a blast in it. And the OP had a blast in his Camaro.

He drove through a different part of the country, but driving through the desert hills at night and seeing a city lit up in the distance is amazing.
