Found this 69 Z/28 in Jacksonville, FL today. Nice car, body is straight, rebuilt engine less than 100 miles (Not original block) but owner says new block is a 69 DZ Block. Sounds awesome!

Those are the biggest "PTB" firewall stamps I've ever seen in my life!

Beautiful car!!! Love that color combo. Is it for sale? Original X-33 car? And yes, the PTB stamps are HUUUUUGE!!! Not sure if those are original!?!?!? LOL!!!

At least there's no "Caution Fan" sticker! ;-)

Those 69 camaros are SOOO fine.

It even has the smog stuff.

I'm not sure if you bought this car yet, but be carefull with fla cars cause they rust in places you can't see.

Any pictures from the back of the car? The grill is supposed to be silver.

I believe the grill was silver. Here's a pic of the rear.

Thanks for those pictures. The stripes are correct and it has the large rear bumper guards that came with all Z'28's. If you noticed my Camaro had the antenna on the right rear, and the stripe is below the spoiler which was added in 1970. My car was a complete numbers matching car, I had just hand sanded the original paint, and sold it for $34,000 just as you see it. What kind of price do they want?

Same question is it for sale. I would sell or trade my 2010 for that beautiful 69.

...and the deck stripes aren't supposed to extend onto the decklid under the original spoiler.

Not really. :) It depends on the factory options selected. Optional on Z/28's until about April of '69 - the "D80" Spoiler Package was not allways factory installed.

'69 Z28 Trunk Lid Striping:

If the spoiler was installed at the factory:
1. The paint stripes go over the spoiler, and end at the bottom of the spoiler (and therefore not on the back lip of the trunk lid)
2. The Camaro trunk lid emblem was moved forward, up the trunk lid, from station 125.00 to station 121.73, a distance of 3.27 inches.

If the spoiler was installed by the dealer:
1. The stripes were painted on the trunk lid at the factory and thus, without a spoiler, run all the way through to the lip of the lid. The dealer installed spoiler was attached over the factory stripes and then the dealer painted the spoiler to match.
2. The dealer often did not relocate the Camaro emblem.

Additionally, if you check under the trunk lid and measure the 2 spring rods, a factory spoiler car will have 2 different rod diameters. If the spoiler was added after the factory, the 2 spring rods will be both the same diameter.

-Mark.

I thought the DZ motor also had angle plug heads?
