Recommended tire pressure for Eagle F1's (on SS 1LE)

What is the recommended tire pressure for Eagle F1's (on SS 1LE)?

I had recommendations from 36 to 42 psi (which seems a bit high)

Thanks man.

Well it will certainly be on the tire itself.

What's on the tire is MAXIMUM tire pressure ,the door jam has the correct pressure.

I believe the tire pressure listed on the door jamb is based on the vehicles gross weight. (the vehicle full of passengers, baggage or combos of both.)

How many here drive your car at max weight?

How many drive their car with max pressure ?
May be the F1 super car tires are different ,but all other tires I have seen have only the maximum pressure on the side wall . Check with your dealer and see what he says .

I have read over and over, set you tire pressure to the psi shown on the door, in numerous GM vehicles service/owners manuals.....

GONIF 03-22-2014 06:24 PM

Here ya go ,found this right here on Camaro5.............
Make sure vehicles with 285/
35ZR20 (100Y), and 305/35ZR20
(104Y) size tires are inflated to
300 kPa (44 psi) before operating

the vehicle at speeds of 160 km/h
(100 mph) or higher.
Return the tires to the
recommended cold tire inflation
pressure when high-speed driving
has ended. See
Vehicle Load Limits

on page 912 and Tire Pressure on

page 1056.

My door jam says 36psi, cold. Shouldn't really matter what tires you have, unless they're special purpose tires.

what the door jamb say.

That is completely wrong. Always inflate to the number on the driver door or door jamb. The tire only has max PSI.

My bad. I always go by the door jamb panel recommendation. 36 PSI on my P-Zeros. I see the tire sidewall says 50 PSI Maximum. I assume that is the max for a "hot" tire. Apologies, OP.
