And I do have to admit. it does look better than I thought it would... I REALLY am glad I went this way. I was still thinking I wouldn't like it until it was all back together... :D Quote:

You're not allowed to paint any part of that front end red, now....the ZL1 gods will descend from on high is such a fury....by the time they're finished with you you're car will look like a Mustang... :help: |

Chris,
I gotta favor to ask... Can I borrow that front end for my mile runs... I'll send it back after I'm done... just think.... Standing in a parking lot... talking to some newb without a clue, you'll be able to lay a hand on the front bumper cover, and say... "this (implying the whole car but really just referring to the front cover) made the fastest run ever in a 5th Gen Camaro at the standing mile... " " People will kneel before you... |
 :headbang:

Front looks good chris..
I would drop the badging.. the car looks cleaner without it. WE (C5 Members) know what it is... |

We will probably pull the mirrors off the car anyways... Wont need em... one car on the track... HOPEFULLY no turns... Send me a headrest... |

I was thinking just tape it inside the trunk for the ride. hahahaha |

I've said it a few times now, If you want to buy a modified camaro right off the show room, you go with Tom Henry. He and his staff are among the very best and Tom is a car guy to the core.
When I want GM parts I go to Maureen and Becky at Rodgers Chevrolet... They are Awesome. They take care of Camaro5 members and I've never had a single problem with anything I've ordered from them. So, since my SS front fascia was crunched by someone backing in to me I went to Maureen and Becky to see if the insurance claim would be close to what a ZL1 front fascia would cost. And here is the result. Not only did they paint it before they sent it they trimmed the fascia so that the grooves line up to the SS hood cowl and it came out damn near perfect... Thanks very much ladies. I couldn't be happier. I like it more than I thought I would. :D Here are the latest pics now that the car is clean. I think it looks better without the SS emblem. |
The match would be perfect if...
1. The fascia was sheet metal instead of a form of plastic. 2. You would wax your Camaro more to minimize sun fade and oxidation. :fighting0030: |
:headbang:
Hell ya. Keep em' guessing. |
