Windmill and Watkins Glen 3
 

Hello folks , Oct 8th come spend the day with the UpstateC5 gang at the Windmill craft fair show in Penn Yan, and then 3 laps on Watkins Glen international ,
We will be meeting as a group in Penn Yan around 930am ,
1-There will be a Group leaving from Albany area around 445 am (Phantom.5ss) , to pick up the group around syracuse 630am, at the Werner service area Around 7am .

2-The group running east on the thruway from Buffalo area (2010camaroj) and SSmike will meet up at 5:30 at exit 49-Transit Rd- park and ride lot , then we will head over to meet up with Bruce and the gang at the Pembroke Rest stop around 6-6:15.
.. will meet up with CoolBlue (Bruce) at pembroke travel plaza on the thruway between exit 48a (Pembroke) and exit 48 (Batavia) at 5:30am - 5:45am, leave by 6am. Then caravan to the Clifton Springs travel plaza to pick up anyone coming out of the east rochester area. We should be at Clifton springs at 7:30am. Leave Clifton springs at 7:45am.

Groups 1&2 will meet at to get to Steve's (3 min from thruway exit 42 in geneva) By 8am. 2093 Welch Rd. Geneva, NY 14456


3- Another group from the south will meet in watkins glen wally world at 845 leave at 9 am for Penn Yan .Lead By MClark10.

4 -another group will be coming over the backroads from the buffalo and possibly the Erie Pa area Group contact to be announced with time line also)

5 - Figjam-5 -- Group coming from the South , will meet up at the Corning Glass Museum Parking lot Just off I-86..Coming from the West ,Take Exit 46# then turn Right , Parking lot on you'r right, Coming from the East ,Take Exit 46# then turn Left, Parking lot on you'r right.. .The Parking Lot is right there hard to miss.. Then we'll head to Watkins Glen up RT-414 to meet up with Mark Clark's group at Wally world in Watkins.. Departure time 7:45 AM ,

Any one coming from -the West .Corning, Bath , Hornell ,or East Horseheads, Elmira, or South from PA .up US 15, LMK


Cost of show is 10.00 Day of show is fine

We will Stay at the show from 10 to 300 pm then down to Watkins Glen to run 3 laps. cost of laps 15.00 , will be collected by Mark at the windmill show.
We also have the choice of leaving the show early and watching a Scca Race from the grand stands
This spring we had 26 at the show and 24 of us went to track. Please post if you plan on attending ,so i can give the show and track a # a few days in advance .
some of us are going to find a place to at after depending on which way we travel, Dinner plans are on you ...

Edit: MClark10, I'll meet you guys at Watkins Glen before the show and travel with you.

I'm planning on being there. Based on the above information the closest meet point for me will be Steve's (I live in Newark). I will need directions / address. I've been trying to make it to other events, but the timing hasn't worked out and I lost the car for >3 weeks getting the hail damage repaired, but I'm good to go now.
