strut tower cap
so yesterday I took on the task of installing 1" drop springs without any air tools or a lift. It was fun:doh: 5 hours and I got both rears and one front done. The car sits all week, so I am going to do the passenger side one night this week.
I did manage to drop the plastic strut tower cap and have it fall down into the body I think. does anyone have an extra laying around?( i know some people switched to fancy billet ones) or does anyone know where I can buy a cheap stock replacement? I am not loking to spend 50-150 on something fancy. Thanks |
If you're talking about if falling down a hole on the drivers side, you can get it out by removing the two lower push-pin fasteners on the plastic inner wheel well. Once you do, pull out on the bottom of it and the cap will fall right out. I know this as I did the same thing only with a socket.
