Hello,

I just dropped my 2SS RS Yellow Camaro at Piccione Customs at 32nd Street & Bell in Phoenix, AZ. I am having a custom paint job done on it, the paint is going to be a Khameleon paint job. I will post pictures as it progresses. The car currently is as shown below:

It looks fine the way it is? Why strip off the stripes?

robertgss3 11-29-2009 10:42 AM

Hello,

I have a vision that the paint shop shares with me; the Khameleon color shifting paint will look awesome. I love my car, however, there are far too many rally yellow Camaros out there now. When I got it on May 4, I was and continue to be very happy with the car and I still love it, however, I want it to be more of a unique color; this will definately make it a unique color.

Thanks,

interested in seeing some pics !!

Gary,

Appreciate it; if you or anyone else is interested in carbon fiber striping; talk to Mike with Aesthetic Creations; his web site is http://www.aestheticreations.net/index.htm he has the best prices and does awesome work. I just got back from the shop; they have it pretty much taken apart and started the sanding and prepping work. Can't wait.

Thanks,

Bumble Bee Tear Down and Cut Out Painting

Hello,

Here are some early pics of the painting; you can really see the difference in color from the Rally Yellow stock paint to the Sunrise Gold; they needed to customize the mix and application to get the right shade. We will have the entire progression from beginning to end posted on their sight (see link below) when it is completed. Enjoy:

Is that HOK paint?

robertgss3 12-01-2009 08:13 PM

Paint

Hello,

Yes it is HOK paint; the mixture and the application will make a big diffference in the colors look.

Thanks,

The great thing is how it shifts in different light; from yellow gold to orange gold.

Looks Great!! :)

Angrybird 12 12-23-2009 08:25 PM

Looks fantastic.. I bet a lot of time and effort is going into that.. By the way on your spoiler holes, are they perfectly centered in the holes that have the rubber plugs over them under the decklid? I am hoping so becaue I am putting a spoiler on mine when it gets here and If they are perfectly centered then it will be easier to mark and drill...

orange10s.c. 12-23-2009 08:27 PM

Looking good !!!

robertgss3 12-24-2009 05:44 AM

Skyman,

The holes are centered on mine, I presume they will be for all of our cars. Hope this helps.

Thanks,
