Yes I saw the newscast too, these cars are not toys!!!

JLSuperfly 02-14-2016 05:41 PM

Such young lives.

Killianzl1 02-14-2016 05:46 PM

Its not snapchats fault, its the driver, only the driver had control of the car. Everyone knows using a cellphone and driving can be extremely dangerous.

CFD 02-14-2016 05:50 PM

It's sad for sure but snapchat is not to blame, the driver is, period.

Tenring 02-14-2016 05:54 PM

Tragic.............but an app responsible for them speeding .........there seems to be no personal responsibility in today's world.

Bulldog3071 02-14-2016 06:01 PM

So sad, see far to many people always on their phones even when driving it's stupid people, put the phone down and enjoy the moment and the people you are with

Homeless Man 02-14-2016 06:06 PM

The streets of philly are no place to be speeding

Nessal 02-14-2016 06:10 PM

Sad but the article just came across as blaming Snapchat.

Exactly , but the crooks , bottom feeders ( read lawyers ) will try and find a way to blame someone or a corporation , whoever has the deepest pockets to cash in
One off these days they will go after XYZ phone manufacture , the microchips manufacture , the unions that may represent those little kids in China that put it together , anyone that touch the phone unit and the carrier off course , when they find a way to do it they will
Even with all the money spent on ads ,tickets etc , etc not to use the handheld device to call or text while driving
It's coming , you can take it to the bank !

SupportGeek 02-14-2016 06:36 PM

Drivers responsibility, not an app ffs, it didn't MAKE her speed.

motorhead 02-14-2016 06:47 PM

If anythjng it sounds like it may help to prove that they broke several laws which ultimately ended up costing them their lives. Time to take responsibility for your own actions people.

JMT 02-14-2016 07:52 PM

Very sad for sure.
