The 2012 model year will begin production in July on the 18th. About 6-8 weeks later they can be expected to show up at dealership lots. Not all the dealership will get them all at the same time so I would suggest checking around to see which dealers have their orders in for the vehicle when ordering becomes available. Also we will not know pricing information until we get closer to the production date. I hope this information helps you.

Curious as to wether "normal" black is going away to be replaced by Carbon Black (like on the Corvette for 2012)

Also, will Carbon Black ONLY be available on the 45th Ann. (Similar to it ONLY being available with the Centennial pakage on the Vette)?

A lot of guys on the Corvette boards are kind of P.O.'d.

Well that's just dandy.
I order my 11 Vert in Jan of 11, they go into production Feb 1st, mine was built on 3-23, and I'm still waiting on delivery.
By the time my Vert gets here, the 12's will already be on the lot.

No, ZL1 production begins Jan. 1st 2012. This was info given out when ZL1 info was announced.

I don't know about new colors. With the issues in Japan certain colors are unavailable. I believe that's why Red Jewel Tint was replaced with Crystel Red Tricoat. I think it's mostly Metallic colors that are affected. :iono:

It's amazing that the 2012's are already coming. It seems like only yesterday when I got my 2010. :rolleyes:
