Well guys.
My plans changed.. Even though we are relatively certain that the Z28 will be here eventually, I can't wait any longer. I've decided that Tom Henry has the best setup for me. I've updated my OP with the information on my build. His new Supercharged THR cars have everything I wanted with one stop shopping. I'll post all the updates here as things progress. I even changed my color.. Order number is in hand, now just waiting on the car. Tom has been awesome to work with. More to follow! |
congrats!!
we all knew you'd cave eventually  |

The anticipation and careful (OK, some impulse) planning have paid off. GTA's car will be a screamer and look good too !!
|
Pedals... I forgot all about that... I need to do that.
 thanks speed! |
Umm, chris....ur gonna have to pic a different engine cover cuz i want the WCC one lol
|
Late to the party but quick to jump on the mods.
Just think, yours will be shinier than most of ours. Mines gonna have about 30k by then. |
Well Tom's setup on these cars is tough to argue with... And he kinda pushed me while I was trying to jump off that cliff...
 |
Hmmmmmm. Maybe I should stand on the edge of the cliff too?

 Can't wait to see the final product!
EDIT: BTW, it's DSV customs, not DVS customs. |
I feel like mines wasting away. Just don't have the BIG funds to do it all now.
Hey Chris, how many has TH done so far? |

Hey PQ - something tells me Tom Henry Racing is not going to put their name on a product that fails... Besides, GTA will have time to stomp on it and if something breaks- we'll fix it before the Fest. There is a backup LS3/L99 floating around if someone on here toasts their engine before C5F. ;) |
I'm paranoid, I know.
Remember, though, I'm just now after 7 months starting the process of doing warranty voiding stuff to my car. PQ + Mods = :yikes: |

2 years later, i've drilled holes in my dash, disabled systems with a resistor & e-tape, even dropped in an engine that wasn't "supposed" to be mated to my transmission. :headbang: i'm fixing to redo my CAI (eventually involving some custom ducting) and a few other mods as well. once you start, it won't bother you at all  then again, i ain't got a warranty to contend with... oh well sorry to :threadjacked: GTA |

MrC why the delete? |

GTA, are you gonna track it at all before the Fest? |

Gonna be pushin' it to get it done anyway probably.
|

 |
just in time for my birfday!
|
Dude I can't wait to see your car. I have NO DOUBT that after seeing it, I'm gonna have to do it. I'll have a good bottom breathing set up by then.

So, Chris? Are you gonna get any 'Build Pics' when they do it? Would be nice to have. ;)

Thought I would jump in, no problem with build pics, I will take it as we go. As for the supercharger install, we did a truck program with Joe Gibbs in 2005 and have done multiple installs. We also have built some stroker motors etc in house. My shop is not a normal dealership shop. We are going to do a before and after dyno on the car also to check everything out.
