Wow man I would never have expected for this thread to come up again.
I will be attending this weekend the 2nd annual Texas camaro wide meet. This is an event where everyone from camaro5 members come together and meet in the center region of Texas. It's hosted at the Oasis restaurant on Lake Travis in Austin Texas. Here I will have the opportunity to present my recent wide body project.

All that work and the rear bumper fits like crap (look at these crooked side markers:barf: ) and it looks just so blah!!! Stock rear looks better.

Are they scuffing up the CF?

Hennesseyrgv 04-25-2012 10:00 PM

After you lay down carbon , you need to wait about a month so you can do another 3 more coats of clear. Carbon fiber , for some reason it absorbs the clear coat and then you get the mesh pattern look. This way I can have a smooth surface. This is the last step. Also on my rear bumper, I found out that my bezels weren't crooked it was the over line of the white , I am doing another set up to have a new look.

Ah cool. Did not know that about CF. Makes sense though, with how CF looks all 3D and all
