For those of you who want Halo Headlights

I am not saying I know anything about the head lights (nor do I want to for fear of the fbodfather's 2x4) but I do want to point out that if our beloved 5th gen does not come with them you can always do something like this:

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...ngel+Eye+Rings

I think that the construction in the video is a bit shotty, but with with some improvements this could be a viable solution.

(By shotty, I mean the guy could have used more weather proof materials, better methods, and at least used solder to make the electrical connections)

It's just a How To video found on Google of how to create your own LED Halo lights at home for a car... Pretty interesting how it's done but I'm not interested. I want the concept's headlights.

AAHHH! Thanks! I'll check it out when I get home. :drinking:

...You know. This only renforces the thought that we'll be getting some HALO's....I mean, this was some guy at home - and look at how easy that was!! I'd have to assume, that industrial-use units wouldn't be terribly expensive.:iono:

There will be aftermarket solutions if halos are not factory. They are already made for rustangs.

blindingillusion 03-04-2008 08:11 PM

From what I hear most of the after market headlights with the halo are crap...

Italianwhiplash 03-04-2008 09:47 PM

MTron 03-04-2008 10:54 PM

If you were really innovative and a good wrench head you wouldn't need "guys". I admire this person for coming up with something creative like this, even despite the shifty craftsmanship.

Just saying all of this of course. I feel 100% better about when I get something done on my own rather than paying some one.

Well there you go :-) thats what my friends down at acc. Did for my friends charger, and they are also installed into mine. Also it's better off getting someone who knows what they are doing. Doesn't make your car looks cheesy, like the mustang in the pics above
