Camaro website will be update March 16th

I wrote GM and asked them when they would be updating some of their websites and heres the response i got. i cut some out bc its a long response.

Dear Mr. Barrett,

Thank you for contacting Chevrolet and for your interest in the 2010
Chevrolet Camaro! We appreciate the time you have taken to write us.

We apologize for any frustration you have experienced while navigating
our websites. Unfortunately, we do not have a scheduled date for the
http://www.gmfamilyfirst.com website to be updated. However, the
http://www.chevrolet.com/camaro website is scheduled to be updated on
March 16, 2009 to enable you to build, price and compare the Camaro to
the competition.

We will document your comments and suggestions for our websites, and
forward the information to the appropriate department. Your feedback
will assist us in improving our website and our services; it is greatly
appreciated! Customer satisfaction ranks high at Chevrolet and General
Motors. We would like our customers to be completely satisfied with
their shopping experience.
Thank you for contacting Chevrolet!

Sincerely,

The Chevrolet Marketing Team

out of curiousity, what were you interested in with GMFamilyFirst? I doubt they'll have any tag-able Camaros for a while (I went to great lengths to find out!) Anything else you asked them to update?

My step brother works for GM. i wanted to know if they updated the site for what cars count and what ones dont. the last update was feb 2008. it would be nice to see the camaro on there with incentives and or a discount.

The website is supposed to be overhauled. They said that there will be a camaro builder on there as well as accessories etc. The new hp info should be there too

good to kno thanks! :w00t:

GMFamilyFirst may not have the Camaro listed but GM employees can still use their discount for family members to purchase one.

Only difference is that GMFamilyFirst gives you an authorization number while the latter is directly purchased by the employee.

The Camaro press embargo probably ends March 15, 2009 at 11:59 pm.

Thanks for the info. I've been wondering for weeks when they'd get around to updating the site, especially with build and price info.
