M6:help all of a sudden hard to get into gear

He car has been great until I left kohls. The car is hard to get into any gear. I have to really press hard on The clutch to get into first. If the car is off it fly through the gears. After I get going there is no problem. But as soon as I come to another stop I have the same problem and hold up traffic for a few seconds. Anyone have any ideas? :iono:

Push the onstar button and have it brought to the dealer. Something probably broke in the clutch. There is a TSB.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but what exactly is it, how does it help and how do I use it?

A TSB is something that GM is already aware of and that any Chevy dealer will fix if your car shows those symptoms. You bring it in and ask them to repair it based on that TSB. What your describing, GM is already aware of, so bring it to your dealer and describe the issues to them, and tell them you know there is a TSB on it and they will search their database and then schedule you an appointment to repair it...It is NOT a recall, it's just something that they were made aware of. there are a few TSBs on our cars for AC/Radio/rear spoiler bolts/other stuff...

Good luck!

Update: I just got it home and wow do I really have to jam on the clutch for it to get into gear. Also one time I had the clutch pedal jammed to the floor, I went to shift into first while sitting still and it kicked the shifter back and sounded like grinding gears. It's almost as if the clutch is not dissengaging anymore. The friction point is also a lot lower on the pedal now. Litterally with the clutch just half and inch from the floor it starts to catch. Going to the dealer tomorrow. I hope they don't turn me down because I just installed flowmasters and a cai.
