13 v6/rs or 10 ss

Which is a better option? Currently have the 13 LT/RS with GFx package 49k miles, is it worth trading in for a 2010 SS/RS with 19k miles for $24,600... Is it worth going back 3 years?

You can find '13 for high 20s. Even 1LEs for that matter. 26-30k

agreed...if you can fork out a few more grand you'll find 13' SS's or 1LE's out there and not have to go back to a 10'. Granted 19k miles on a 10' is amazing. Granted a few grand more and if you don't mind going back in years you can scoop a decent mileage LS3 C6 Vette as well.

How much were you offered for your 2013 RS?

I picked up my 11 2SS/RS with 24k for $21k. So the price for the 10 seems a bit steep, even with the mileage. There are plenty of low mileage Camaros around, no need to over pay for one.

Location has allot to do with the price. Cars in Utah dont sell for the same prices they do in Deleware. $24k is probably a pretty fair price for his area. Thats about what they go for here in FL.

This is true. I bought it from Idaho which generally has a lower resale than Utah. Similar cars were going for 24-27 in Utah at the time. My point was to take your time and look around, no sense in paying a premium just because you "have to have it".

i just bought a 2015 RS.not feeling like its lacking in any department,so if it were me id be keeping the RS.

I'm a big fan of the 10-13 Camaro. I had a '12 45th RS and have a 13 1LE. I'm with Failshift on this one. If you're making a move, look at a 13 1LE in the high 20s. If you regret buying a 1LE, you're just not a Camaro fan.

That, my friend, is highway robbery--unless of course you have a nationwide 100k bumper to bumper warranty and free maintenance. Your target price is $20k.

Regardless, the answer is; not worth it. There were significant design changes through 2012, the Camaro wasn't settled until the mid-'12/'13 models. As others have mentioned, save your money and upgrade to a '13 2SS/RS when able or keep your '13 LT as a daily driver and buy a '13 2SS/RS as a weekend car. You can get a stated value policy for the 2SS, which can save thousands a year in insurance and overall gas and mileage.

Ultimately, do whatever you want :smoking:

Agreed .yeah you can brag it's a v8 and sure you'll get 70 or so hp more ...but your getting an older car with a whopper of a financial loss

Hold out for the 13 if you want the ss.

Not knowing about one... and regretting buying one are totally different! :iono:

I'm with the other two... see if you can pickup a 1LE. You will NEVER here a 1LE owner say he regretted buying it... :thumb: Unless it's for MO POWER. :pound:
