Best aftermarket clutch???????

So whats the best clutch? I just toasted a findenza twin disk.
the clutch lasted a few thousand miles, and 6 or so passes on the track. Car puts down 640rwhp. I need a clutch that will handle the load put on it. Street and strip a must.

Right now I am looking at a ZR1 setup, but need information on how it is holding up. It is rated for 700hp but is that at the crank?

Let's here what you have, and how it is holding up. Also state you RWHP numbers!!!

GET THE ZR1 Clutch!!!!! :happyanim: Ive been where you are with 2 aftermarket clutches. The ZR1 clutch is by far the best setup I have used. The pedal is as light as stock and ZERO chatter.

600rwhp and I run drag radials for everyday tires.

The clutch is good for a lot more then 700hp. I know Redline Motorsports uses it on some 800hp camaros and lingenfelter runs it on their 10 sec camaro.

I dont sell them, so Im not trying to make a sell. Im just VERY happy with it.

I am happy with mine (LPE ZR1). Like said above - no chatter and clutch pedal feel is close to stock.

I'm getting an RPS BC2. It's a pissload of money though(look around and you can get them for ~$2k) but I haven't heard a bad thing about them. Rated at 900ftlbs I believe.
I'm at 600/600.

Just installed the ZR1 clutch, and so far it is gerat on the street.
I can't wait to see how it feels out on the track. So far the best clutch I have used!!

ADM PERFORMANCE. Is where I got mine. Good price, and very helpful.:thumbup:

LPE would be another place to look.

I know Monster has a new twin getting ready to release to the market.
They also have the Level 4, 5 or 6 that will handle that power.
Give them a call and tell them Chris @ Gforce sent ya :)

Thanks
Chris

who has the best price on the zr1 setup

Jason 98 TA 09-14-2010 09:02 AM

We've had great results with Monster clutches. If your wanting something that drives like stock then the ZR1 clutch is hard to beat. That being said it has some extra weight in it compared to the aftermarket single disc setups. Give us a call & we can get you good pricing on several different possibilities!
