Location Preference

OK..we have the hotel costs close between Valdosta and Gainesville. Still waiting to hear back from the Manager of the Holiday Inn in Valdosta, but he will probably do the same rate as C5Fest, which was $84.99/nt.

We have the Best Western Gateway Grand in Gainesville down to $99/nt. So as far as we are concerned, it's going to come down to location preference, (which may already be leaning toward SGMP anyway).

Please chime in with your thoughts, because we want to have everything set up for folks to start making reservations by tomorrow. WHAT IS YOUR LOCATION/VENUE PREFERENCE????

1. SGMP - back to Valdosta.
2. Gainesville

But I'm good for either one.

SGMB

Does not matter to me. Just keep in mind for those down South it will be over a 4 hour drive to GA versus a 2 hour drive to G'ville. I make the trip to Tampa a few times each month. The extra 2 hour drive may discourage some back home.

If Gainesville, hubby and I would make the trip.

If SGMP, won't make it... you guys have fun!

I say Gville.

Thanks for the input gang....keep it coming. I need to wrap up a hotel by tomorrow.

guiLT 09-21-2010 08:26 PM

Yes everyone. The hotels are pretty much down pat.
